Sitwell`s Coffee House in Cincinnati

Have been a fan of Sitwells for years now! Such a pleasant atmosphere w affordable menu options. Fav coffee shop on the Ludlow strip. The new menu was a fantastic improvement! Would recommend for anyone looking to get some work done or relax w friends.

The table service could not have been kinder nor more helpful. The composed salad of greens with avacado was well-portioned and fresh. Unfortunately, the iced tea was practically indistinguishable from water. The home-made hummus has a promising chunky texture, but our portion was the blandest hummus I've ever not tasted. Even additions of table-side salt and lemon couldn't brighten the mixture. (The texture is spot-on, but the recipe needs revisiting to turn it from meh to wow.) While I appreciate the effort to create a funky, laid-back college cafe complete with a mixture of second-hand chairs, tables and art, the atmosphere spills over into neglect, for example in unreadable torn menus and restrooms needing attention.

Mediocre products at exaggerated prices. You may as well go to some chain and you might get something better if you do. Disappointing.

Amazing food and amazing service. My omnivore husband ordered the meatball sub and he loved it. The atmosphere is really nice and relaxed. 😍 we are just visiting but we would definitely come here all the time if we could!! 😍😍😍

This place is just amazing to hang out, have coffee and enjoy the variety of vegan food options. Everybody is very friendly and helpful.

It's my first time here today. Where this stands out is it's live music in the evenings, vintage style paintings and handicrafts and also ample board games. There are sketches books for here to color them. I tried Mocha Latte with whipping cream which tasted good. There are many alcohol and drink options. The prices for most items are affordable but for some items I felt they are little costly.Also, you can come and join the live music. You can sing, play musical instruments, recite poems and do some standup comedy

This is a lovely place. You can sit in there for hours, eat great food, have some coffee or beer and read an entire novel.

Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. The entire menu is vegan - which normally would be a turnoff for a carnivore like myself - but the vegan chili was delicious!

Great Place. Used to Hangout every Friday. The Art, Music and the feeling is overwhelming. Must visit if you are in Clifton - Cincinnati Area.

Great place. The waiting staff is very personable and easy to talk to. They do a great job helping you with the menu. The coffee was delicious and they even put little cocoa hearts on our cappuccinos. The banana fosters French toast was the best French toast ever. Fresh bread and homemade toppings. Seriously have to try this place for yourself, you will not regret it!

Best coffee house on the north side of campus. The drinks are all excellent and the staff is wonderful. Great for long stays to study as well as short business meetings.

Absolutely phenomenal service every time I come in! I eat here roughly 3-4 times a week. The staff and owner are really down to earth and knowledgeable about their menu. What really sold me is the recyclable and biodegradable cups and straws, any restaurant that puts that much attention to detail will definitely have my business. Thank you for your awesome atmosphere and eclectic style!

Great atmosphere and food. We shared a vegan banana muffin and vegan carrot cake. I also had a matcha latte and Greek gyro without feta and tzatziki.So good!!

Superb experience for my wife and I.I thoroughly enjoyed the garden sub and my wife loved eating the first half of the meat substitute meatball sub. She could not finish it after sharing an order of hummus with me first.After I ordered us a vegan caramelized banana muffin.Everything was ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS!!!THEY DO VEGAN/VEGETARIAN RIGHT!

How have I never been here before! Lots of vegan options and the vanilla latte was the best I've ever had in my life. The ladies at the counter we're super friendly and accommodating. Can't wait to go back! Also, lots of quirky art to enjoy.

I haven't been to Sitwell's in 15-20 years, but when it popped up in my search for local vegan friendly eateries it took me straight back to my early college days. My wife and I enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere and progressive vibe this quiet little spot humbly yet unapologetically offers to its patrons. A diverse and well executed food menu is paired with premium coffee house drinks as well as a full bar. If you are looking for a fresh, chill place with friendly service to enjoy alone or with friends, I highly recommend you give Sitwell's a try.

Really love the coffee and brunch menu. I’m in grad school so I’m really glad to find a great place to study that has both caffeine and awesome food (I’m not even vegetarian). Staff is friendly and welcoming.

Think of the cafe that was featured on the sitcom 'Friends', but with more diversity. Sitwell's offers vegan food options at a reasonable price ($4 & up). The customer traffic seemed pretty consistent. Customers leave and more customers arrive. Very eclectic and history filled. Parking available on streets

Words can't convey my love for this coffee shop.

I was a regular customer here. There was a homely feeling here. However, after the renovation, I don't get that great feeling anymore :(But I still like the place.

I come here once a week and the staff is so pushy. They hardly give me a chance to sit down and talk with my friends before they are coming over for the second or third time asking me what I’m going to order. Food portions are small. I tried getting the gyro and even asked the waitress if there was a decent amount of food before ordering, but there wasn’t that much. Expensive as well.

Exceptionally friendly service and comfortable environment for conversation and study. Plenty of outlets line the walls for charging electronic devices. Besides the service, my favorite thing about Sitwell's is the music selection: primarily jazz with folk/singer-songwriter numbers mixed in. Also, the coffee is excellent.

Funky place with throwback decorations. Our second visit. I had the impossible burger. IT IS TO DIE FOR. The food rocks.

My wife and I have gone here twice so far, and both times the service and atmosphere have been incredible! Recently we ordered the beyond burger and the blackened tofu po boy, along with a mocha and a latte. The food was amazing and the coffee is perfectly prepared. We will most definitely be coming back in the future!

Not been here since earlier days before transition to Act II...I like+ it. Interior seems fresher, a little less "incense inspired". The live local band (Jess Lamb and Band) was killer, the alcoholic drinks were smooth and service was great. Food Menu looked intriguing, but sadly I was not hungry.

This is a great place to hang out and have a drink (coffee and cocktails!). The food is delicious and always fresh. I also appreciate that Sitwell’s is supporting healthcare workers by offering meals during the pandemic! Will definitely be coming in to support this great local restaurant once the city starts to open back up.

This is such an amazing place for vegans/vegetarians. Lot of delicious food options and their latte is to die for.

Dropped in today for lunch. She had the Greek gyro and I had the special-- beef and chorizo burger without the bun, both with house coffee. We will absolutely be back. The food was really flavorful and memorable. Flor was a friendly and efficient host too, and we felt well taken care of by her. For the service, food, dine in environment, and ease of ordering/finding a table, the value was awesome and we look forward to trying out other menu items. As an added bonus, Covid safety precautions were taken by staff and restaurant policy. Thank you very much! Coffee was amazing as expected!

This was my first visit since it has been Sitwell's Act II, and I must say it is much better than the old Sitwell's. The food was delicious, the service great, the ambiance fun and inviting. We'll definitely be going back!

What a great place to eat or have a drink or a coffee. Share with some friends. The music and the vibe are excellent. Great decoration and amazing food... did I mention the food??? Definitely a place worth checking out. People are super friendly and the service is great.

Great little coffee shop in the Ludlow area of Clifton! The atmosphere of this place seems very artsy and intriguing to the eye. They have board games set out at the table so you can play Pictionary or Trivial Pursuit with your friends while you wait for your coffee. I got a latte on my visit there and it was excellent! Definitely recommend!

We arrived near closing time but the staff was super-friendly, the food was great (try the duck sandwich!), and the space felt cleaner than ever (while maintaining the artsy, underground feel for which Sitwell's is known.)

You can be a cafe that exists to focus on and provide quality food and beverage products to consumers who wish to come in and enjoy your offerings and atmosphere, or you can paste your political leanings and social agenda in your windows, taking the chance to alienate potential clientele.

The new Sitwell’s is fantastic, beautifully “redecorated” and cleaned up. Excellent food and a few snacks after 10 p.m. Great owners!

Great coffee in a eclectic venue. Food is really good even if you're not vegan/vegetarian. Just be prepared to be there a while. The place is set up for long stays and the service is typically pretty slow. If you're looking to hang out for a while this a great place. If you want a quick bite look elsewhere.
